Upper Darby Day Care Employee Caught On Video Throwing Child Down Steps
You gotta be careful where you send your kids. They could end up in the care of a piece of trash like this.Sarah Gable, 52, was arrested in Upper Darby after security footage caught her pushing a 4 year old child down the steps at her job as a daycare worker.
After the incident, Gable looked up at the camera realizing she had been recorded. She then took the girl by the hand and led her down the rest of the stairs.
Shawayne Tavares, a manager at the child care facility, watched the disturbing incident unfold and confronted Gable.
"I was so upset. I had tears in my eyes," Tavares told the outlet. "She picked up the shoe and tried to come to the end of the stairs like, 'Oh, it was her shoe' that caused her to fall. I'm like, 'It's not her shoe, I just watched you on camera do it.'"
Tavares suggested Gable should serve jail time for the malicious incident.
The little girl, who has not been identified, hurt her knee in the fall but returned to the facility on Monday.
Gable was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, harassment and simple assault. She is currently out on a $25,000 bail. -(NY Daily News)
Obviously, she has been fired from her job.
