Actor, Michael K. Williams, Found Dead in NYC Apartment

I swear this hit as if it were family. Actor, Michael K. Williams was found dead in his NYC apartment on Labor Day. This man's acting skills were always so powerful. Many remember him as Omar from "The Wire." And more recently, Michael was seen starring as Montrose in "Lovecraft Country." According to the New York Post, a family member who hadn't heard from the actor in a few days went to check on him and that's when his body was discovered unresponsive. Michael has been open about his past demons with drugs and unfortunately that's what took his life. Police believe he died from a heroin overdose. The 54-year-old was found in his dining room where there appeared to be heroin on the kitchen table. You never know what someone is battling with, but we wish he could have shared his demons to get help. He is survived by his son, Elijah. Our condolences for an amazing actor.
