Ahmaud Arbery's Murderers Charged with Hate Crime

This case seemed it took forever. Last year, Ahmaud Arbery was just jogging in his neighborhood when some people took it upon themselves to chase him down and question him, thinking he was responsible for a few robberies in that neighborhood. But when these men chased down Ahmaud, they chased him down like he was a rabid dog and had guns. Ahmaud got into an altercation with one of the men, while trying to defend his own life, only to be shot to death. Some of the altercation was caught on camera by a man following the truck. TMZ reports the U.S. DOJ announced Travis and Gregory McMichael and William Bryan were indicted by a federal grand jury on multiple charges, including interference with rights and attempted kidnapping. As for the kidnapping, the feds allege all 3 men attempted to unlawfully seize and confine Ahmaud by chasing after him in their trucks. Prosecutors claim they did this in an attempt to restrain him, restrict his free movement, corral and detain him against his will. They've been hit with federal hate crimes. The men are also facing murder charges at the state level that is a separate case.
