Nike Starts a Refurbished Program

So if you have some Nike kicks that you really don't wear and they are gently worn, well, Nike wants them. Nike is trying to help out with the world and waste that goes on. Basically, they are helping with climate change. According to Hip Hop Wired, Nike has started a program that will take in your used sneakers and refurbish them. Yes, a resell situation. Customers will have the change to return their gently used sneakers for some cash after Nike does a full inspection of the shoes. Nike will clean up the kicks and basically put them back on the shelves to sell. Customers will have about 60 days to decided if they want to return the shoes for their refund. But shoes that are coming apart at the seams can be donated or recycled back to Nike where they’ll become a part of Nike Grind which breaks down old kicks to use in new merchandise. So far, there are about 15 stores that are participating with the program. So see, some brands care about the world after all. Are you going to send some lightly used kicks back?
