Dave Chappelle Gets HBO Max To Pull Show

Dave Chappelle made it be known that he isn't making money from repeats of The Chapelle Show. When he walked away from Comedy Central, that was a wrap for him. Because of the deal he signed years ago, he doesn't get money from the show when it is streamed. Well Dave Chappelle has done a few shows for Netflix and when he asked them to stop streaming The Chapelle Show, the team at Netflix made it happen. They stopped running the show on their streaming service. But HBO Max also had the show on streaming. According to Variety, HBO Max is now honoring Dave's request. They will remove the Chappelle Show from the streaming service at the end of this year. The chief content officer of HBO and HBO Max, Casey Bloys, said they had a conversation with Dave and came to conclusion that Dave's situation is a very unique one. Hey, Dave got his way!
