Washington Redskins to Change Its Name and Logo

For years, some people have felt the name of the NFL team Washington Redskins was offensive. Well the game will be changing now. Of course there are other names of sports teams that some call offensive as well, for instance, the Florida State Seminoles and their chant. Well according to The Washington Post, the Washington Redskins made an official announcement on Monday that the team will retired the name and logo of their NFL team. This is such a big move.However, we don't know when the process will go down, but Coach Ron Rivera said he hopes a new name is in place by the start of the season. The team will keeps its color scheme but there will be no reference to Native Americans. We don't know the name or how long because there are also trademark issues involved with the name change, but there have been a few names tossed out there like Red Tails, Red Wolves, and even Warriors. The Red Tails would be an honor named for the Tuskegee Airmen and Red Wolves would be an honor because of a military tie-in. Which are these names sound good to you and do you think it will make fans change up as well?
