The NFL 2020 Draft Will Happen Virtually With No Team Gatherings

Many sports fans wonder when life will get back to normal to enjoy some American past times. The coronavirus pandemic basically shut everything down. The NBA season was canceled, as well as baseball. But the football season hasn't quite started. Fingers are crossed. Well, football fans are also ready for the 2020 draft. What's going to happen and will it happen? Well it looks like there will still be an NFL draft. However, there will be a big difference from previous. TMZ reports Roger Goodell sent a memo to all 32 teams informing they they must draft away from team facilities in separate locations in order to comply with the coronavirus guidelines and the league will force the teams to draft virtually. There will be no team gatherings for this. Part of the memo read, "Clubs will conduct their Draft operations remotely, with club personnel separately located in their homes." So there is still hope and maybe there will be a way for fans to check out some of the virtual draft.
