New York Battles Growing COVID-19 Outbreak

When you watch the news and see everything that is going on with the COVID-19, it's like watching a thriller movie. It's real guys. This coronavirus pandemic is real. Dr. Fauci already said the numbers will continue to grow, but right now, New York has the highest count of infected people. It has gotten so bad that the hospitals are overrun with patients and the medical responders are doing the best they can but need help. It has gotten to the point that the hospitals in New York have run out of space in the morgue. According to New York Post, FEMA had to bring refrigeration trucks to help. Speaking of help, The USNS Comfort arrived in New York on Monday, bringing a massive Navy hospital ship to help relieve city hospitals overwhelmed by coronavirus patients. It's a 1,000-bed floating hospital docked Monday at Pier 90 on Manhattan’s West Side, and is set to begin treating patients Tuesday, reports Politico. However, the naval ship will not treat coronavirus patients, but will take on other patients including trauma cases, freeing up beds at local hospitals focused on combating the pandemic. Let's continue to keep our prayers up, while continuing to practice social distancing.
