Just yesterday, I said I hoped Megan Thee Stallion and her record label can handle things after she put the label on blast. She blasted her label on social media saying they wouldn't let her drop any new music all because she asked to tweak her contract. Well Megan believes certain people from her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, have been bullying her, but no more. According to TMZ, Meg is suing the label and the boss, Carl Crawford. Part of the lawsuit claims her contract says the label is to get 60% of her recording income and she gets 40%, which, will technically pay engineers and features on songs. And when she filed the lawsuit, a district judge in Harris County Texas granted Megan a temporary restraining order which prevents her label from blocking the music she plans to drop on Friday. That means she can release new music. Something tells me this will get ugly with the lawsuit in play, but we are here to give you the scoop about it.
