Popeyes knows that people are still upset about them selling out of their now infamous chicken sandwiches - and while we wait for them to come back, they have a solution - bring your own bun. Yes, seriously.
Popeyes announced today that they're going to allow customers to bring in their own buns, order its 3-piece chicken tender, and then make the chicken sandwich... yourself.
Popeyes says, "While we work to get the sandwich back in our restaurants, we wanted to offer our guests a fun way to satisfy their Popeyes sandwich cravings."
Huh. They still haven't announced when the sandwich will return, so this will have to do for now, fam.
