Group With Gun Try And Storm Popeyes Restaurant Over Chicken Sandwich

This Popeyes chicken sandwich thing has officially gone way too far — Houston police are now searching for a group of people who tried to get into a Popeyes restaurant on Monday night and demand the chicken sandwiches…. at gun point.

Authorities say two women and three men tried to "storm" the front door of the restaurant with at least one weapon with them - and they had attempted to get into the store because they were told at the drive-thru that the store was sold out of the chicken sandwich. Luckily, one of the employees was able to lock the doors before the group could get inside the restaurant. The group of 5 even left a baby in their car while they tried to get in the store.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, and police are still trying to find the suspects.

This comes on the heels of a man from Tennessee trying to sue the company for selling out of the sandwiches.
