IN BLANKSTARE NEWS: Artificial unintelligence ...

Young workers are increasingly worried that relying too heavily on artificial intelligence is weakening their thinking skills.

AI is making Gen Z dumber. That’s not Boomers saying it … it’s Gen Z saying it. Young workers are increasingly worried that relying too heavily on artificial intelligence is weakening their thinking skills. A global survey found nearly half of Gen Z employees say using AI too much is making them feel "less intelligent." Across the workforce, many admit they’re becoming dependent on AI, with growing pressure — especially among younger staff — to use it to boost productivity. That pressure is leading to risky habits, like using AI-generated content even when they’re unsure it’s accurate. Experts say the biggest concern is long-term. Relying too much on AI could limit learning, problem-solving, and confidence — especially for young workers who need hands-on experience.
