- The Yonkers Raceway can hold up to 7,500 people though COVID guidelines only allow for it to be filled to 20-percent capacity.
- He deserves all of this and more.
- They should rename the city after him.
The makeshift memorial includes candles, flowers and stuffed animals and letters of support.
There are also plans for a memorial service in his hometown of Yonkers. A source close to the rapper’s family says there are plans for both private and public memorial events. The Yonkers mayor says he wants to use the city’s largest outdoor venue — the Yonkers Raceway — to host funeral services.
Mayor Spanos says he also plans to honor the hometown hero with a statue, mural or street naming in his honor.
