Let's go, HBCU's! Fisk University has had its women's gymnastics program for a little less than a year, however, they are making strides and history. Fisk is now the first HBCU to compete at the NCAA level. According to People, Fisk made its debut on January 6 and the inaugural Super 16 event in Las Vegas. And Fisk finished in fourth place with an overall score of 186.700. The team's head coach, Corrinne Tarver, also made history being the first Black gymnast to win an NCAA all-around title in 1989. The Bulldogs will compete next on Jan. 13, going up against 2021 NCAA champions the University of Michigan. Let's go, ladies!
