Chris Rock still hasn't come out to talk much of that notorious slap from Will Smith at the Oscars this year. He made one quick joke about it during Netflix's comedy festival when a man ran up on stage to try to tackle Dave Chappelle. But Chris is doing his tour and moving along. Well although that slap could serve as a bad memory for Chris, he could also have a good memory. According to The Jasmine Brand, ABC president Craig Erwich says he is open to having Chris Rock return for the second time to host the Oscars ceremony for next year. Erwich said there were a lot of great moments from the show, and it was successful, although there was that controversial moment. But he says It would be one way to address the controversial topic head-on, and get it out of the way, so the focus could return to the nominees and not the scandalous moment that shocked the world. Chris hosted the show back in 2016, when it was the #OscarsSoWhite moment. Would Chris be open to hosting next year? We will keep you updated.
