If you haven't had a chance to check out ABC's Abbott Elementary, you are missing out on a treat. The show, which is created by Philly's own Quinta Brunson, makes you smile, think and laugh. The show is about dedicated and passionate teachers in a Philadelphia public school, where they are determined to help their students succeed in life. The show is great! In fact, according to The Jasmine Brand, Abbott Elementary set a new record last month when the show’s debut episode topped ABC's numbers as the first comedy premiere to quadruple ratings from its original air date. Even with the second episode, there were about “9 million total viewers and a 2.93 rating in adults 18-49." This marks the first time ABC has seen this high number of viewership since “Modern Family”‘s series finale in 2020. The show is a hit and we are hoping to definitely get a 2nd season. Make sure you tune into Abbott Elementary Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.
