It seems like after Nipsey Hussle's death, people have been trying to profit off of the later rapper's brand. His family and estate tried to sue people who were putting out fake Nipsey merchandise. According to Hip Hop Wired, his estate just won that fight. Well, a federal judge in Illinois has granted the estate a temporary restraining order against vendors who are selling bootlegged merchandise with Nipsey's name and likeness. Remember, Nipsey's brother, Samiel Asghedom, is the one who filed the complaint against individuals who were operating e-commerce stores that manufactured and sold products that bore the “Victory Lap” rapper's likeness and name, and using trademarks associated with him. Looks like it's a little bit of victory for the estate.
