With all of the issues of plane passengers fighting on the flights or pissed at the flight staff and fighting, you wouldn't think having a drink before your flight would be an issue. Well it was for Stevie J. TMZ reports Stevie was on his way to Atlanta but his son wanted to take his alcoholic beverage on the flight and Delta attendants weren't trying to let that happen. Sources say the man with Stevie, who happened to be his son, bought the drink while waiting to board the flight and tried carrying it on past the gate and Delta personnel told him not to do that, but he did it anyway. However, Stevie says that's not quite what happened. Stevie says no drink was bought on board the flight. He said they had drinks prior to boarding and were told they'd have to get rid of them before getting on. Stevie and his son finished their drinks before trying to board the flight and apparently that didn't make the gate agent happy. I guess the gate agent wanted them to throw away the drinks as soon as they were told. Stevie says that's when the fuss happened. He booked a different flight and made it to Atlanta to celebrate his daughter's 12th birthday.
