Usher's Herpes Lawsuit Case Gets Dismissed

Usher may be in the clear. He's been keeping quiet for a while over his herpes allegations. Back in 2017, a woman, Laura Helm hit Usher with a lawsuit claiming the singer exposed her to herpes when they had unprotected sex. That's when other women came out the woodworks claiming the same thing, although, some of those women were really questionable. Helm initially sued Usher for $10 million, then the price went to $20 million. Well that case has been dismissed again. According to TMZ, Helm filed to dismiss the case in 2017 for technical reasons then refiled in 2018. But now, it seems like Usher and Helm may have reached a settlement when Helm filed to dismiss her lawsuit this week. The dismissal was filed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled. No word on what that settlement consisted of.
