Philly to Offer New City Identification

Philly is helping out people in the city. If you don't have identification, there is a way for you to get some. According to 6 ABC, Philly will now issue these municipal photo ID cards for people who don't have other forms of identification, like a driver's license. It will basically be for anyone is who 13 and older. You can now get a PHL City ID. The card will have the person's name, address and date of birth. Pretty basic. On top of that, the cards can be used in the city to have access to city buildings as well, or any other purposes that require I.D. If this is what you are looking for, you can actually get one from City Hall with an appointment.
