Cardi B Wins and Gives Amazing Performance On AMA's

I can't lie to you, I forgot the American Music Awards was on last night. However, I will say each time I flipped to the channel, I happened to catch some amazing performances. Cardi B basically set the stage on fire with her performance of "I Like It." I will say her stage presence has definitely improved from her very first time when she performed at Powerhouse. Cardi danced around and had a lot of fun. On top of that, she should have because she also won the award for Favorite Artist Rap/Hip Hop as well as Favorite Song for Bodak Yellow. Oh and let's not forget Favorite Song with Bruno Mars. On top of her win, she was also celebrating with her husband because Migos picked up an AMA for Favorite Duo Pop/Rock. Among other winners included Post Malone and even XXXTentacion for Favorite Album Soul/R&B. And you already know Taylor Swift pretty much won the main awards as well as Camila Cabello, who seems to now be Taylor's best friend. Meanwhile, while I didn't catch all of the award portions, I had a chance to see Ella Mai's performance and Ciara's performance. By the way, Ciara did an amazing job and even brought out Missy Elliott. I will say I definitely appreciated the tribute to Aretha Franklin, led by Gladys Knight that also included Donnie McClurkin, Mary Mary and Ledisi. Oh and I almost forgot that Mariah Carey performed, mainly because I could barely hear her. I think she sounded well singing a new song, but only if her voice was a bit louder, I could really tell you.
