Best known as Benny from Tyler Perry’s ‘The Have and The Have Nots’, Ian from the hit series ‘Harlem’ and ‘Diamond’…the soft spoken but not to be messed with bouncer in P-Valley…Tyler Lepley is the latest in a long line of talented Philadelphians making their way in Hollywood. Born in 1987, Lepley graduated from Central Bucks High School and attended college at Kutztown University after earning a football scholarship. Shortly after graduation, Lepley moved to Los Angeles to embark upon his dream to make it in the world of entertainment, and over the past decade has done just that. Lepley is slated to return to P-Valley on Starz in Fall of 2026, and can currently be seen alongside Phylicia Rashad and Serayah in the Netflix feature film ‘Ruth and Boaz’, where he’s nominated for an NAACP Image Award in the Outstanding Actor in a Limited TV Series, Special or Movie category.
