The Power List 2026: DJ Drama

Tyree Cinque Simmons, professionally known as DJ Drama, is a DJ record executive from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Drama initially gained recognition as the official DJ for Atlanta-based rapper T.I. but then went on to become famous for his own mixtapes. His most successful mixtape was his was a debut album called: Gangsta Grillz series, which was released on December 4th of 2007. DJ Drama has released multiple albums as well as collaborated with numerous artists and he also founded his own label called: Aphilliates Music Group. He’s the co-founder of the Generation Now music label alongside Don Cannon, where their first signee was Philly’s own, Lil Uzi Vert, and also houses Jack Harlow.In 2021 Drama won a Grammy as a contributor to Tyler The Creator’s album…’Call Me If You Get Lost’ Drama can also be heard as the voice of Power 99’s legendary Powerhouse Concert, and just dropped the latest Gangsta Grillz collaboration with The Game entitled The Credits on January 30th.
