- Reportedly, Post Malone has been hit with domestic violence allegations stemming from his last relationship with Ashlen Diaz.
- According to court records, Martorell Law has filed a lawsuit against the artist as well as his ex-girlfriend of three years, whom they first assisted in legal negotiations pertaining to her palimony.
- Apparently, Diaz hired this firm to help negotiate money after the couple's split in 2018.
- He reportedly forced her into an out-of-court settlement that would exclude the company, according to the complaint Martorell filed last year.
- Martorell claims that the firm has photographic evidence and text messages to prove that Post Malone was not only emotionally abusive to his ex, but he was also allegedly physically abusive to her.
- The firm stated, "Coercion and pressure of one’s romantic partner combined with physical and emotional abuse in violation of the Penal Code, in an effort to deprive that person of competent legal counsel and with the knowledge that the actor is also depriving legal counsel of its attorneys’ fee, constitutes an independent wrongful act."
- The founding partner of the firm added, "During the course of my representation of Ms. Diaz, Ms. Diaz informed me that she suffered from acts of domestic abuse during her dating relationship with Defendant Post, which I now believe to be related to Ms. Diaz’s breach of the contingency fee agreement. Ms. Diaz provided me with photographs and text messages with Defendant Post, and information relating to Defendant Post’s abuse."
