T.I. Claps Back at Godfrey for Questioning His Stand-Up Comedy Credentials

T.I let it be known he is trying his hand at comedy and recently performed at the infamous West Hollywood The Laugh Factory.
While he did get some laughs that night, the one person not laughing was the shows headliner, comedian Godfrey.
Godfrey spoke about the night on a podcast. He said he did not watch T.I's set, and does not consider T.I a comedian because he doesn't know how long T.I is going to take the craft seriously.
T.I got wind of the comments and took to social media to speak his peace.
He said, what you are failing to do is failing to recognize someone who could be an ally, someone who could be an asset, someone who could add value and you misrepresenting that as opposition. Bro, I am not your opponent.
T.I also said he is not a comedian. He is a superstar.
