‘King Richard’ Gets Six Oscar Nominations

  • The biopic about the father of Venus and Serena Williams, King Richard has received six, count em, six Oscar nominations. 
  • King Richard picked up nominations in the Best Original Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress, Best Film Editing, Best Original Song, Best Picture, and a Best Actor nomination for Will Smith.  
  • This is Will Smith's first nomination in 15 years and his third and fourth Oscar nomination.
