Many people were shocked when Ben Simmons popped up at practice with the Sixers. Of course, he was suspended for the first game after we heard Coach Doc Rivers booted him from practice. But Ben hasn't played a game, yet. ESPN reported there is no timeline as to when Ben will be on the court for an actual game. ESPN's Ramona Shelburne was on NBA Today Tuesday afternoon and said Ben is working with mental health professionals through the NBPA to reach a state of “mental readiness” before hitting the court with the Sixers. But there is still some turmoil because word is that Ben is not accepting help from the team, in terms of getting help to get mentally prepared, like using the Sixers doctors and so forth. On top of that, Ben isn't providing the team with any updates on what he’s doing to get back with the team and participating in team activities. The Sixers take on the Bulls this evening.
