The vaccine for children has been the talk a lot lately, especially since school has started. Over the summer, we found out the COVID-19 vaccine was safe for kids 12 and up. But what about the younger kids? Well Monday, there is breaking news. Pfizer has just released that shows the vaccine is safe and effective for kids ages 5-11. This is good to know because unfortunately, there have been a lot of kids contracting COVID and schools have had to close because of outbreaks. According to Today, tests were given to about 2000 kids. Test results showed the vaccine was safe. Pfizer will submit to the FDA for emergency use authorization. They will submit the data by the end of the month. If the FDA approves the data based on the proof Pfizer has for efficacy, will you be getting the vaccine for your little kids?
