Normani sounds like she's ready to show a different kind of "Wild Side" to producers of MTV's Video Music Awards-- if they don't come through with a performance slot for her. In an interview on an Atlanta radio station this week, Normani said she was "disappointed" about not getting an invite. She said, “Since last week, I’ve just been in my head. Also I know that everything happens for a reason. Obviously I’m a human being, I feel things. I love to feel noticed and for my work to be validated, but it speaks for itself." She finished by saying "I think back to my favorite artists, Janet, Bey and Britney...all of those iconic moments, which I know that I’m capable of, you know?” The VMAs ,which will be staged in front of a full-capacity audience, will air live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on September 12th. The show will air across all of MTV’s platforms, including CMT, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, TV Land, MTV2, Pop, TV Land, VH1, Logo and The CW. (Just Jared)
