DaBaby has been quiet lately after posting his formal apology over his homophobic words some weeks ago. Clearly, there was a publicist who stepped in because DaBaby was still a little messy following his rant. Even though he apologized, he was still popping up on social media here and there. But when we got that official apology, he has been laying low in regards to the controversy. He even deleted his apology. Well, can he bounce back since many have put him in the cancel culture? Well 50 Cent was on E!'s Nightly Pop speaking with Nina Parker and 50 said he hopes DaBaby can bounce back. 50 said, "He is a really talented, special artist. He just transitioned from being in that pool that everyone was in as a rap artist. They didn’t notify him that he was turning into a superstar. There’s nobody that tells you ‘Now you’re being held to the mainstream standards.’ That you can’t say things, you can’t do these different things. He didn’t have a publicist involved, that’s why his response took so long." 50 sounds like he could be a great mentor to DaBaby and teach him the ways, but 50 put things into perspective about the rapper and even had a point when he said and compared the controversy to that of Chris Brown. He said people canceled Chris several times as well.
