Fat Joe Called Biz Markie's Wife Every Week for a Year to Check on Him

With how saturated the industry is, you always wonder who are real friends. Well, Fat Joe was definitely a friend to Biz Markie. TMZ reports Tara Hall, the wife of Biz Markie, said that plenty of people reached out to her while Biz was sick, but Fat Joe was always there. When Biz was in the hospital last June, Fat Joe was there, by calling often to check on Biz and the family. This was all a year ago. Fat Joe had reached out to Tara for a year to check on the family, before Biz's death. He wanted to make sure everyone was straight and offered money and anything else. Fat Joe even wanted to pay for Biz's funeral, but Tara turned down the kind gesture. Of course Joe wasn't the only friend to check in, but he did it often, like every week for a year, while others like Treach, Big Daddy Kane and others also checked in on the family.
