Damon Dash Plans to Launch Family Docuseries

Damon Dash will find a way to stay relevant. If you've watched Growing Up Hip Hop, you would have seen Damon on the show with his son. Well, he plans on doing his own show based on his family for a new docuseries. According to Deadline, Damon said although he has been on other shows he didn't like the way he was painted. Damon said, "I’ve been on a couple of shows. I was on Growing Up Hip Hop and a couple of other ones with BET and VH1, and I never really liked the way the narrator portrayed me or the way we were projected and I wanted to just showcase the reality of what it just looks like to be in a great relationship, as opposed to just showcasing the trauma and the dysfunction of our culture. I wanted to showcase what it looks like to have a healthy, normal, loving relationship and come from this world." So now he is creating "In Love for a Living," and Damon said this show will celebrate love, his fiance', Raquel, trials and tribulations, parenting and more. But as of now, there is no launch date for the show, however, it will most likely be on his on streaming service.
