Master P is out here trying to expand his resume. He wants to become the coach for the New Orleans Pelicans basketball team. The team fired Stan Van Gundy at the end of a 31-41 season, just after one season. Master P, who is not new to basketball is down to become the coach, even assistant coach. He told TMZ he feels he could be the first hip hop coach. And this wouldn't be new to him. Remember Master P did have his time to shine on the court when he was a hip hop artist who played on the court. He played preseason ball with the Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors in the '90s and on top of that, he previously coached San Antonio Spurs star DeMar DeRozan at the AAU level. Not bad, right? Let's see if P will make the cut.
