Damon Dash Cannot Sell Jay-Z's Album

Damon Dash was trying to sell off his share of Jay-Z's "Reasonable Doubt" album. He said he had a legal right to do so. He was trying to sell it as an NFT, cryptocurrency sell. Roc-A-Fella hit him with a lawsuit for trying to sell. Well it looks like Roc-A-Fella won, legally. They were able to block the sale. According to TMZ a source close to the case says the court ruled in favor of Roc-A-Fella Tuesday by ruling Damon's prohibited from selling the NFT of Jay's debut studio album, and any planned auctions to do so must be halted. The judge said Jay and Roc-A-Fella's arguments were deemed credible and correct. Damon is temporarily banned from selling the album. Roc-A-Fella sued Damon because the company owns the album and not Damon. We'll see if Damon will still push for the fight.
