The Washington Wizards Make a Statement With New Team Photo

Even though athletes won't be able to wear any "Black Lives Matter" apparel or won't be able to protest during the Olympics, sports teams are still showing their support for the movement. Sports teams members are also demanding justice and have been allowed to wear supportive apparel. The Washington Wizards went a step further. Normally for team photos, you would see the team wear their uniforms. However, the Wizards decided to do something different. Wizards teammates like Russell Westbrook, Bradley Beal, and the rest of the team all wore Black t-shirts that had by the words "accountability," "equality," and "justice." According to NBA.com, the team's page read, "Accountability from our nation’s law enforcement, politicians, local leadership, and all citizens. Equality for all, an end to systemic racism and any profiling based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or country of origin. Justice as a foundation for a safe and fair society." That's dope to be a team to change the game!
