It took a while to get to this point for Philadelphia, but there are about 53 schools that will open for in-person class for kids. It took a while because some teachers didn't feel comfortable or safe re-entering the schools with a pandemic and heading back into classrooms that may have already had issues. For instance, ventilation was an issue in regards to having teachers returning to the classes. NBC 10 reported K-2nd graders will and the safety measures will still be in place. Everyone has to wear the masks and keep with social distancing. The students will be learning on a hybrid model. Of course we won't see packed schools because there will be about 3,000 students returning.
