Amazon Studios made a major play for Donald Glover. He’s reportedly earning “eight figures” – more than $10 million – to create a unique channel for Amazon Prime viewers. On his payroll will be former first daughter, Malia Obama. She’s joining Glover’s writing staff for a series called Hive. The show is “rumored to revolve around a Beyoncé-like figure.” Donald Glover is bringing his brother, Stephen Glover, over to Amazon. They created for FX the award-winning series, Atlanta.
