Kodak Black Still Dealing With Sexual Assault Case After Sentence Commuted

It makes you wonder what made Donald Trump pardon or commute the sentences of certain people. Kodak Black was one of the names on list to get his sentence commuted so that means he gets out of federal prison. However, his legal issues aren't over. He may have had his sentence commuted, but that was for a federal case, which has nothing to do with a case in state court. According to TMZ, he still has a criminal case. Kodak was indicted in South Carolina on a felony charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. The case is from a 2016 when South Carolina prosecutors claim Kodak forced himself on an 18-year-old woman in a hotel room after a concert, allegedly raping her and biting her. So, despite his federal case and being free from that, prosecutors say they still plan on pressing the case against Kodak until he cops a plea deal or there's a trial. The pandemic is what pretty much put things on pause. I guess he better not get too comfortable.
