Two Men Get Charged in Unsolved Murder of Run DMC's Jam Master Jay

Run DMC is embedded as legends in hip hop, but the group lost a member back in 2002. Jam Master Jay, the group's DJ was gunned down. His murder was left unsolved for at least 18 years until now. Jam Master Jay was killed when he buzzed a gunman into his studio. According to CNN, the US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York unsealed a criminal indictment alleging that Karl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington conspired to kill Jam Master Jay in retaliation for a drug dispute. The men claim Jay was involved in transporting about 10 kilos of cocaine and decided to cut one of the men out of the deal, according to the indictment. The men have been indicted on charges of murder while engaged in drug trafficking. Washington was already in prison serving time for armed robbery, but was accused of Jays murder for years. Jordan was arrested on Sunday. All this time later, the family can finally get the closure they needed and can rest a little easier, knowing Jay's case has been solved.
