As some cities gear up to move into the next phase of opening back up, I've been missing the movie theaters. Okay, I know it can be pricey, but it's something about sitting in front of that big screen eating popcorn, right? Well, AMC announced it would reopen about 450 of its 600 theaters on July 15th. But the AMC CEO, Adam Aaron won't be forcing customers to wear a mask in regions where it's not required, according to Hip Hop Wired. Now of course with the Covid-19, you don't know who is walking up in the movie theaters. There was a statement that read,"In areas of the country where guests are required to wear masks, AMC will abide by that ordinance, and guests will be required to wear masks except while eating and drinking. Guests at other locations are strongly encouraged to wear a mask during their visit to AMC." People started the idea of boycotting, saying wearing the masks isn't a political statement. Since then, AMC has decided to make it mandatory to wear masks during visits.
