I will admit, I love heading to Los Angeles for the live broadcast from radio row during the BET Awards weekend. This year, that damn COVID-19 has messed that all up. The BET Awards weekend is a 3-day weekend with all types of festivities before the actual show airs. But since everyone is practicing social distancing, needless to say, that weekend is canceled, which would have been scheduled for June 25-27. However, the show isn't going to stop. Just like we've been seeing with other major things, the BET Awards is going virtual this year on June 28. Yes, the awards show will move forward with a virtual format with plans of having live and taped segments to celebrate the event's 20th year anniversary. Of course you're curious, so make sure you're tuned in. And hopefully, we will look forward to hitting radio row in 2021.
