Grubhub Driver Allegedly Runs Over Restaurant Employee

During this COVID-19 pandemic, some people are on edge, but at the same time, you have to respect these business that are open. A lot of stores and restaurants require people to wear face masks, while some places even ask of you to wait outside to keep the social distance going. Well one Grubhub driver wasn't too thrilled when he was asked to wait outside of a Chicago restaurant. TMZ reports Angenita Tanner, owner of Ms. T's Southern Fried Chicken was arguing with the driver because he didn't follow directions. He was told to wait outside for his pickup order and he just started going crazy, fussing and kicking the door and walking out. The argument basically went outside where Tanner's daughter Bijan Early and another employee who was recording to get the driver's tag were standing outside. Bijan was in was front of the car as Tanner was arguing. That's when the driver basically hit and ran over Bijan with his car. Bijan had to be hospitalized with a few broken bones. But there is good news. Chicago PD says someone has turned themselves in over the alleged crime and Grubhub, said they've revoked the driver's credentials and are working with cops to provide any necessary.
