Saturday brought me sadness and plenty of people were trying to watch the IG Live battle between Babyface and Teddy Riley. There were just way too many technical difficulties. However, the legends did their rematch on Monday night. Although there were a few technical issues, Babyface and Teddy reminded us why they are legends in the game. Teddy didn't have his entire set up that he had on Saturday, instead, he was in a room actually playing music. Face basically had his smooth look going with his candles in the background and a few Grammys in case anyone ever questioned his skills. When they both got on, it was definitely a show. The two went back and forth playing some of their biggest hits with different artists, including themselves. However, there were a few technical issues like Teddy's Live freezing on us. It got to the point that Teddy logged off, probably to get better signal, and Babyface pulled out the guitar to keep us entertained. But then Teddy couldn't get back into the Live. So he got on his and it was like a back and forth thing to see who could connect. The main issue, IG wouldn't allow them to join each other but that could have been because everyone was trying to log on to check the battle. Many people had to go to their laptops to check it out or even Verzuz's YouTube. While the two had a good back and forth situation with their music, I have to say, no one won. These kings complimented each other on their work and looked up to each other, as they said, with a few jokes and stories about some artists from Babyface. Okay, but for real, I may have to roll with Babyface on this one, because he pulled out the guitar and hit us with some live vocals and even ended his Live with Whitney Houston's "Count on Me" from the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack, which seemed perfect. So who do you think won?
