Rihanna will push a button and do what she wants to do when it comes to fashion. I mean, she does her her own lingerie line. But when it comes to hair, she seems to rock old traditions that some people think is new. Remember for an award show, her hair was wrapped and full of bobby pins? Black women have been doing that for years, but not wearing it out as a hair statement. We wrap our hair and pop the bobby pins in as we prepare for a hairstyle. Well Rihanna is at it again, making history and becoming the first woman to rock a damn durag on the cover of British Vogue magazine. According to Hip Hop Wired, Rihanna’s longtime hairstylists, Yusef Williams and Naphia White, helped bring the iconic look together by styling her hair in dramatic Black hairstyles for the cover feature. By the way, we are pretty sure this durag isn't from the corner hair store and it was probably expensive as well. In the meantime, check out the latest read on Rihanna as she speaks about her former relationship, her music, her Fenty make-up brand and more. By the way, the photo shoot for the magazine was before the pandemic.
