I have to admit that during this coronavirus pandemic, I've been trying to keep myself busy, including continuing to work out. When I went out for a bike ride on Friday, I was surprised to see how many people were out and about. Granted, the weather was beautiful that day. But people were sitting and lying in the grass, and I couldn't help but think "what about social distancing?" as I was riding past people as fast as I could. Well to continue to combat the COVID-19 here in Philly, Mayor Jim Kenney on Sunday issued a stay-at-home order for the entire city with hopes to prevent the spread of coronavirus. That means we have to keep our asses home. So what does that mean to people? The order goes into effect Monday morning and it prohibits public and private gatherings outside a single household, according to NBC10. Of course, there are a few exceptions. Yes, you can still get your groceries, seeking medical attention and so forth. Kenney is tweeted the info as well. Also, businesses that aren't considered essential, like gyms, salons, barbershops, movie theaters and more, have to close today or possibly face fines or strict penalties, according to Gov. Tom Wolf's announcement from last week.
