If you take the trolleys to work or anywhere else in Philadelphia, then your life will be disturbed for at least a full year. According to 10 NBC, SEPTA is about to do some repairs on the route 15 Trolley line. The route runs mostly along Girard Ave from Port Richmond to West Philly. And the thing is, while the trolleys will stop running, SEPTA buses will replace them for at least 12-18 months. As far as why the repairs, blame it on the rust and other issues of the 73-year-old trolley cars said SEPTA. So within the year of repairs, it will give SEPTA time to make sure the trolleys meet the standards, so it's not the end of the Philly culture.
