Tekashi Gets Sentenced and Will Do 2 Years

Man, Tekashi 6ix9ine must have been saying a lot and snitching on everyone from his former associates to his family because he was given his sentence on Wednesday. He was looking at a maximum of 47 years but is now only going to serve 2 years in prison. According to TMZ, when the judge gave him the sentencing, Tekashi had already done 13 months jail so he may definitely be getting out sometime in 2020. But it seems like the judge really took notice of Tekashi's cooperation, saying the feds met with the rapper 26 times, and said Tekashi was a passive participant in the shootings, but not the shooter. Tekashi was of course in trouble and facing up to 47 years for multiple counts of racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses and narcotics trafficking. And on top of that, according to federal docs, Tekashi was involved with dealing heroin, fentanyl, ecstasy, amphetamines and weed. When he does get out, he will be on supervised release for 5 years and will have to pay a $35k fine and complete 300 hours of community service.
