While former QB Colin Kaepernick has been out of work for a few years and becoming an activist, he is still trying to get back on the field. Last week, it was reported he would have a football tryout in Atlanta where 32 teams would get a chance to witness his agility on the field. However, some thought it was a publicity stunt, even one put together by Jay-Z. But things went a bit left because Colin apparently changed things up and decided to not do the NFL workout, instead, he had his own workout at a high school. Colin canceled the NFL event in favor of his own live-streamed workout after his representatives and the league failed to come to terms on issues like a medical waiver and media access. TMZ reports Colin's team has put together the workout video to be dispersed throughout the NFL to see if a team would be interested. Well, that didn't sit too well with a few people because even Jay-Z felt disappointed and said Colin turned a legitimate workout into a publicity stunt, according to TMZ. Stephen A. Smith even felt some type of way about Colin and he was not impressed at all by Colin's antics. Stephen even said Colin doesn't want to play. But at the same time, it leaves a bit of us confused because after the workout, Colin said, "We’re waiting for the 32 owners, the 32 teams, Roger Goodell, all of them to stop running. Stop running from the truth, stop running from the people. We’re out here, we’re ready to play, we’re ready to go anywhere."
