Jill Scott is an American singer-songwriter, model, poet and actress. Jill attended Temple University while working two jobs. Jill started to make her major strides in music in the year 2000, when the debut album, Who is Jill Scott, was released and went platinum. Jill came back with two albums - Beautifully Human (2004) and The Real Thing (2007), which went gold. In addition to her music, Jill Scott has achieved success in acting starring in the Film Get on Up and the HBO Series The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency.
