Robert Rihmeek Williams otherwise known as Meek Mill is an American hip hop recording artist who was born and raised in North Philly.
Meek first made a name as a battle or street rapper, and later formed a short-lived rap group, called The Bloodhoundz.
He was signed to his first label by rapper, T.I. in 2008 and took off from there. In 2011, Meek signed with Miami based rapper Rick Ross to MMG.
Meek later started his own Dream Chasers Records. Meek Mill often collaborates with fellow MMG label-mates; he is also known for his appearances on MMG's Self Made compilation series, with his first two singles, "Tupac Back" and "Ima Boss", included on volume one.
